Ingredients
Cake Mix (75%): Sugar, Wheat Flour, Fat-Reduced Cocoa Powder (3%), Raising Agents (Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Vegetable Oil, Emulsifiers (Propylene Glycol Esters Of Fatty Acids, Mono- And Di-Glycerides Of Fatty Acids, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate), Modified Maize Starch (1422), Maize Starch, Salt, Colours (Carmines, Paprika Extract), Flavours, Thickener (Xanthan Gum). Frosting (25%): Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Water, Invert Sugar Syrup, Emulsifiers (Mono- And Di-Glycerides Of Fatty Acids, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate), Salt, Cream Cheese Flavour, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Mineral Salt (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate), Colour (Carotene), Food Acid (Citric Acid). Red coloured chocolate cake mix with cream cheese flavoured frosting.
Preparation Instructions
All you need is: 1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable oil (or 80g butter, melted) + 2/3 cup (160ml) water (or 2/3 cup (160ml) milk) + 3 extra large eggs Prep time 10mins Baking time 45-50 mins 20cm round and at least 5cm deep cake pan. 3 Simple Steps! Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced). Grease a 20cm round and at least 5cm deep cake pan with cooking spray. Line the base with baking paper. 1. Beat cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil and water (or cake mix, eggs, butter and milk) in a large bowl with electric mixer on LOW speed for 30 seconds, then on MEDIUM speed for 2 minutes. (Do not eat unbaked batter). Pour into pan. 2. Bake for 45 – 50 minutes or until skewer inserted in centre comes out clean. Cook time may vary depending on oven. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, and then gently remove from pan onto a wire rack to cool completely. 3. Swirl cream cheese frosting over the top of cake.
